Mastering Werewolf Deception
Advanced tips for werewolves who want to survive the vote and villagers who want to see through the lies.

Werewolf is won and lost in conversation. The best players are not the ones with the strongest role — they are the ones who control the narrative.
For the Werewolves
- Build early trust: Ask questions, share observations, and avoid pushing too hard on day one.
- Sacrifice a teammate if needed: Voting to exile another wolf can make you look innocent for the rest of the game.
- Counter-claim carefully: If the real Seer reveals, a coordinated fake claim can discredit them — but it is risky.
- Attack information roles first: Seer and Witch are your biggest threats. Eliminate them before they organize the village.
For the Villagers
- Track voting patterns: Who changed their vote at the last second? Who stayed quiet during a close call?
- Watch for over-explaining: Wolves often rehearse stories; villagers usually just react.
- Protect the Seer: If you are the Seer, reveal only when the information is worth the target on your back.
- Use process of elimination: Every dead villager and every role claim narrows the field.
