What Is Werewolf?

Werewolf is a game of hidden identities. Most players are Villagers trying to survive; a few are Werewolves secretly hunting them. Through discussion, deception, and deduction, the village votes to exile suspects until one side wins.

The game alternates between Night and Day. At night, the Werewolves choose a victim while special roles use their abilities. By day, the village debates and votes — often with accusations flying, alliances forming, and lies unraveling.

Six Game Modes, Endless Variety

PlayWerewolf supports six modes from 6 to 12 players:

• Classic 6 — A fast, tense game for smaller groups (2 Wolves, 2 Villagers, Seer, Hunter)
• Classic 9 — The recommended experience (3 Wolves, 3 Villagers, Seer, Witch, Hunter)
• Classic 12 — Full party mode with 4 Wolves, 4 Villagers, Seer, Witch, 2 Hunters
• Idiot 9 — Adds the Idiot role, who survives exile but loses their voice
• Guard 10 — Adds the Guard, who protects one player each night
• Guard 12 — Every role in the game, maximum complexity

All modes support Quick Match and room creation. AI bots fill empty seats automatically.

Economy and Progression

Every match earns you XP and coins. Level up from 1 to 40, build daily streaks for bonus multipliers, and trigger jackpots for extra coins. Spend coins in the Shop on consumable items, pets, entrance auras, and titles.

Three task boards — Starter, Daily, and Weekly — offer additional rewards for completing objectives.
