Replay & Analysis — Rewatch Every Moment

Every match is saved. Replay your games with full round-by-round breakdowns, relationship graphs, and analysis — or share a public link so anyone can watch.

Replay & Analysis — Rewatch Every Moment

Every match you play is recorded and stored. The replay system lets you revisit any game, analyze what happened, and share it with others.

Participant Replay

If you played in a match, the full replay is available from your Profile → Records tab and from the Settlement screen after each game.

The replay viewer loads the complete match record from cloud storage. You see:

  • Every phase transition (night → dawn → discussion → vote)
  • Every speech act, accusation, and defense
  • Every night action (wolf votes, seer checks, witch heals, guard protects)
  • Vote breakdowns for every round

Shared Replay (Public)

Want to show a friend an epic comeback? Generate a share token from the replay screen. Public shared replays:

  • No login required — anyone with the link can watch
  • Redacted — user IDs are replaced with seat numbers for privacy
  • 30-day expiry — tokens auto-expire

You can also revoke a share token at any time, cutting off access immediately.

Match Analysis — Three Tabs

The post-match analysis screen (accessible from settlement and replay) has three tabs:

Story Tab

A narrative reconstruction of the match:

  • StorySummary — One-paragraph overview of how the game played out
  • StoryTimeline — Chronological log of every significant event
  • StoryboardCard — Scene-by-scene breakdown
  • MomentumLane — A visual track showing which side had the advantage through each round
  • KeyMoments — Pivotal turning points
  • AIDiary — First-person diary entries from AI players, giving a glimpse into their “thought process”

Players Tab

Detailed player dossiers:

  • PlayerDossierCard — Per-player stats: speeches, accusations (and accuracy), role claims, votes cast and received, same-camp votes, wolf-votes, night targeting
  • PlayerSignatureCard — Role art with a signature style assessment
  • RelationshipGraph — A visual map of relationships derived from who accused whom, who defended whom, and how they voted
  • MyImpactCard — Your personal influence on the game

Analysis Tab

Data visualizations using Recharts:

  • Vote flow — How votes shifted across rounds
  • Speech patterns — Who spoke when and what they said
  • Night action timeline — Every night move mapped out

Strategic Value

The replay system is not just for reliving victories. Use it to:

  • Review your reads — Who did you trust that you should not have?
  • Study opponents — See how habitual players behave in different roles
  • Share with mentors — Send a public link to a more experienced player for coaching

Every match is a lesson. The replay system makes sure you never lose the data.

Check your match history and rewatch your best games.
